Tackling the Climate Emergency
Leading on urgent action to protect people and planet
Bristol is a city of unique opportunities. We have the potential to be a beacon to the rest of the country and the world, demonstrating how collective action can overcome even the most daunting challenges.
Our city is talented, hard-working, imaginative, and kind – values that I hope I will embody as your MP. I always aim to be a good listener with an open mind, and I strive to help wherever I can. As a former wind energy engineer, as the co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, and a Bristol City Councillor since 2015, I’ve dedicated my career to championing policies that will build a fairer, greener country.
The Conservatives can’t win here but I can. Unlike the current Labour MP, who has to agree with what Starmer says, my role as the Green Party leader allows me the freedom to advocate for what is truly right for our city. I won’t be swayed, coerced or intimidated into supporting a leader I don’t believe in. I would be free to listen to my constituents and vote with my conscience.
Casting a Green vote in Bristol Central is not just a vote against the Tories, it’s also a vote to hold Labour accountable to their promises, and a vote to champion progressive, green policies. A vote for hope.
